What is Short Film Cinema?

As many of us know, the majority of films that are made are shorts. They are a widely accessible medium open to anyone to make. They are created, they go on the festival circuit and then.... that's it. Never to be seen again apart from in your showreel.  We aim to change that.

Short Film Cinema explained

As many of us know, the majority of films that are made are shorts. They are a widely accessible medium open to anyone to make. They are created, they go on the festival circuit and then.... that's it. Never to be seen again apart from in your showreel.  We aim to change that. Our goal is this. A Looping cycle of short films split into genre and rating that the public can join and discover new film at any time. A more community "third space" area that is more than affordable and as such keeps art open to the working families. Most cinemas these days will cost you nearly £100 just to watch a film with a drink n snack. And theatre itself is sometimes that price for one ticket. Art shouldn't be for the elite only.  We will create a space that has the nostalgic magic of classic cinema but with a modern approach. This enables you the short film maker to have your shorts seen by the general public. We would also welcome you to host a premiere night with us. The short film cinema will be split into medium sized booths with the choice to switch between genres and a main large screen in a central communal seating area. To add to this and to launch for now we will create our own custom website to stream these short films from which shall be www.shortfilmcinema.co.uk. We will aim our best to create an app to pair with this so your shorts become more widely known.

We will need you to provide links or files of your shorts along with any relevant artwork and a description of the short film so we can make this happen!
